US Patent No. 9,295,622 B2; Mary Kay Inc. has patented a substantive emulsion comprising water; a combination of octisalate, avobenzone, homosalate, oxybenzone, and octocrylene; a combination of polyvinylpyrrolidone/eicosene copolymer and hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer/squalane/polysorbate 60; 1,2-hexanediol/caprylyl glycol/tropolone; and glyceryl stearate/PEG-100 stearate. This emulsion has a sun protection factor of at least 30 and is very water resistant....
